According to a review article published in Lancet, over forty double-blind controlled trials had evaluated the benefits of ginkgo in “cerebral insufficiency” (dementia) prior to 1992 . Of these, eight were rated of good quality, involving a total of about 1,000 patients, and producing positive results in all but one study. The Lancet article’s authors felt that from this evidence it was possible to conclude that ginkgo extract is an effective treatment for cerebral insufficiency. Continue reading »

Are detoxifying foot pads actually effective?
Who you pose the question to makes the difference.
When you pose this question to a physician employed by a state-funded clinic, they will inform you that detoxifying foot pads aren’t effective.
It makes sense. They aren’t interested in something originating in the area of alternative health treatments. The fact is that they aren’t convinced about any products which are natural.
